Also, first folder in archive must be "gamedata"( "database" for some mods) not "FolderName/gamedata". Similar as "Vortex" supported mods, just add archive of any mod, then install it. Also you need " Show hidden files and folders" set to on, before install this extension this way. Download manually from site and extract to "C:/UserName/AppData/Roaming/Vortex/plugins". In "Vortex" go to "Extensions", click "Find more" button, search for this extension.Ģ. Require "Vortex" for this extension to work. ![]() (This happens only with "configs" folder) I will also add fix for this, if you can't do this manually! As i'm mentioned above, game/mod will try to read any file that located in "configs" folder include "_folder_managed_by_vortex" file. As Vortex, will create "_folder_managed_by_vortex" file in folder it creates, you will have infinity loading bug. Even if it any not game/mod related file. Hope that makes more sense than my last post.ĮDIT: on a side note, Nyayr I swear I've seen you on the Misery forums in a semi-official capacity.īump.Also, be sure to have full folder structure in "gamedata/configs", as game/mod always checks entire folder for files. Right-click your keyboard and select Update driver. Right-click Start and select Device Manager. While Windows automatically installs any available updates, you can also install them manually. all in the correct order for any of them to work, or is that order just for if you have more than one of them, so that you end up overwriting the correct files in the right order? An outdated keyboard driver could stop the media keys from working. I'm guessing it's doing something to the config files that the game doesn't like, or perhaps I'm missing other stuff that it needs to function.ĭo you need to install ALL of the DoctorX mods - both faction relations mods, Questlines, etc. Just found the most realistic stash in Shadow of Chernobyl. Please try this if you experience this problem: Click on the Windows Start Button and navigate to the Control Panel. In most cases, this is not an issue with the device but is an OS issue. I tried then just installing Questlines, but that caused the same thing to happen. I have this weird problem with S.T.A.L.K.E.R where I cant play or switch songs while Im. There has been a few number of cases where the media buttons on the keyboard do not work, or the scroll wheel on our headsets do not seem to change the volume. ![]() The first time around, I installed Questlines first and then Dynamic Faction Relations (as listed in the ReadMe) but that caused the game to not start (I just hear the Windows critical error sound and it doesn't launch at all). After I posted it, I went through the mods, installing one and then seeing if the game would run.Īrsenal Overhaul works absolutely fine, but it's the DoctorX Questlines that seems to be causing problems. Is it simply a case of dragging and dropping the contents of the gamedata folder from the AO download into the CoC gamedata folder, or do you need to do something else/differently? My passthrough worked but now my FN keys won't.Then, if i unplug the passthrough plug it does not change anything.Media Keys just won't work anymore. So i plugged in the other one on USB3 too. So i ssearch on your forum and read somewhere i had to plug them all anyway. I checked the fsgame.ltx file and it has "true - true" for the gamedata line, which afaik is correct. My Media keys work But then my passthrough was not working at all. I suspect the issue is to do with modifying the gamedata folder for AO, but I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I tried adding the DoctorX Questlines, Dynamic Faction Relations and Arsenal 3.1 mods, but the game won't launch properly. Unfortunately there are no guides that I could find on how to install CoC 1.4, any videos or written instructions I came across only related to previous versions that used the installer would be great if someone could explain how to install 1.4 after downloading the files.ĮDIT: FIXED, was being really stupid and not making a proper shortcut for the launcher from CoP, game now runs fine, but I have run into new problem with modding.Īs the edit above says, I have fixed the launch issue so the game now runs fine, but I've encountered another problem. What causes the ltx file to not work properly? I'm sure there's quite a few things I could go and try, but I don't particularly want to go messing around with files or my PC if it's nothing related to issues with those.Īny help would be appreciated. I'm probably just doing something wrong here - or haven't done something I needed to - but I have no idea what. S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 10 Anniversary Update Windows Server 2016 Resolved Issues: On a Linux host.
